Huron City Council Discusses Sale of Corporate Park |
|
|
|
|
Thursday, 27 March 2008 |
City Council met Tuesday night with all members present. Minutes from
the last meeting were discussed. Julie Dively commented that the
minutes did not elaborate on the nature of statements made during the
audience comment section of the last city council meeting. Two
citizens had made critical statements about the city. The minutes only
stated that they had spoken but did not mention or summarize what they
had said. After a discussion between several council members, the
minutes were amended and approved with the inclusion of a summary of
the statements made.
Council considered an agreement with Bowser-Morner for soil exploration
services in connection with the Huron River Boat Ramp Project. An
addendum was suggested by law director Lee McDermond to change the
wording of the payment schedule. The resolution was approved including
the addendum.
