Huron Tiger Marching Band goes to Disney World |

 On Monday, March 24, 2008, the Huron Tiger Marching Band loaded their
busses for the last marching session of the school year and traveled
1100 miles south to Disney World in Orlando Florida. On Wednesday,
March 26, the entire band became honorary Disney cast members and
proudly represented our community as they marched the parade route
helping bring the "magic" to the Magic Kingdom.

Students Selected for Honors by Huron Rotary |

 Actively involved in soccer, football, swimming, and track, Matthew
Zeck was selected by the Huron Rotary Club for his academic
accomplishments and community involvement as well. He plans to pursue
a career in physical therapy at either Lippery Rock University of the
University of Findlay. He is the son of Steven and Denise Zeck, Huron.

inability to concentrate."
Contrary to popular myth not every graduating high school senior falls
victim to this mysterious malady. Nathan Luzader, a senior at Huron
High School, candidly admits he "hasn't had time for senioritis . . .
I'm just too busy, man."

 Futurist and educator Dr. Willard R. Daggett spoke to staff members of EHOVE Career Center April 3 as part of professional development activities to study 21st Century Skills.
Dr. Daggett discussed the role education must play to help students meet the needs of the shifting U.S. and world economy. Author of six books on education leadership, Dr. Daggett has worked with a number of school districts to make their education system more rigorous and relevant for all students.
