On Track PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 27 March 2008
The Huron track team is having trouble finding the track these days. One day it's there and the next it's snowed under. The athletes are making the best of it. With the proper clothes and the right workout they stay pretty warm. Drills are sometimes done in the stadium or the weight room, but there is not much substitute for running so the athletes must practice on the roads. Even that can be a challenge depending on the weather. The stadium is set up so the athletes can practice starts as well as drill for high jump, long jump, pole vault, and the throws (steps only). The first meet is scheduled for Thursday, April 3 at Sandusky.
