Drumline Gives 'Energized' Halftime Performance |

The award winning Drumline became the show within the show at Friday's halftime Huron-Oak Harbor Basketball game. The 18-member group energized the crowd into a standing ovation.

Tigers Drowned By Sailors, 72-43 |

 Vermilion started Saturday's game in Huron with a beautifully executed
alley-oop play to Matt Liljegren who slammed it home leaving the Huron
crowed stunned. Then the Sailors' proceeded to dominate the next two
minutes to take a 8-2 lead forcing Coach Winslow of Huron to call a
time out. Huron began the game with a different starting line-up in
what looked to be an attempt to try and match Vermilion's size. The
Tigers utilized a half court, 2-3 zone defense to try and shut down the
Sailors' inside play.

Oak Harbor Rockets Past Tigers, 66-27 |

Last Thursday, the Oak Harbor Rockets traveled to Huron to take on our
Lady Tigers, before the bad weather was to move in. The Rockets are one
of the best girls' basketball team in the SBC conference. Both teams
came out pressing. While Huron continued with its troubles with
turnovers when pressured, the Rockets' guards were able to maneuver
through Huron's zone press. The Tigers offense was able to stay in the
game during the first quarter led by freshman Lauren Volz's 5 points.
The first period ended with Oak Harbor up 17-9.

 At half- time of the Huron - Vermillion Men’s Varsity Basketball game, the 1983 Girls
State Championship Team was presented their Championship trophy again by current
athletic director Tony Munafo Jr.
