Come On Out To Cheer On Lighthouse Half Marathoners |

To mark the 10th anniversary of the Lighthouse Half Marathon and 5K
Run, the Huron Chamber of Commerce is planning a party -- a beach party
without the sand and sunscreen.
Since it's a milestone year for the race, set for Saturday, May 3, the
Chamber asking Huron residents to turn out along the course to cheer on
the runners.

Monday evening, over 50 players, parents, and friends gathered to help
kick off the 2008 Huron High School boy's baseball season. Munching
cookies while seated within the high school cafeteria, Huron neighbors
exchanged tidbits of the past winter and shared optimism for the
Tiger's coming baseball season.
