Happiest Baby On The Block At Erie County Health Department |

Firelands Regional Medical Center, in coordination with the Erie County
Health Department WIC office, will be offering the "Happiest Baby on
the Block" parenting class on Thursday, June 19th from 12:30 - 2:30
p.m. at the Erie County Health Department, 420 Superior Street,
Sandusky. This course is free of charge to WIC clients and is made
possible through grant funding.

FRMC Recognized Nationally As A Top 100 Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility |

Firelands Regional Medical Center was recently ranked as a Top 100
Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities nationally by the Uniform Data
System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR).
The ranking was based on assessing high-performing facilities for their
delivery of quality patient care that is effective, efficient, timely,
and patient-centered. Firelands Inpatient Rehabilitation achieved high
national scores in facility performance, demonstrating superior
performance as ranked against 827 other rehabilitation facilities
across the nation. This is the first year UDSMR has issued these
national awards.

The Pediatric Orthopaedic Clinic is staffed by a Board Certified
Pediatric Specialist from Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.

 Firelands Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Rick Brown has joined the organization as Executive Chef / Assistant Director of Nutritional Services. Brown is responsible for planning, coordinating and directing all activities related to the food production system and retail programs.
Brown joins Firelands with 20 years of experience in the restaurant business. Previous employment includes the Sandusky Yacht Club and the Fremont Country Club. Rick Brown currently resides in Oak Harbor with his wife Tonia and four children.
