The Wee People Pre School is going into a new phase. Saundra Dolbeer who has been the director of this program is retiring, but the school will move forward under the direction of the Christ Church Anglican Fellowship Foundation.
Saundra has been involved with Wee People for the last 30 years. The goal will be to keep the original values and add some different learning programs to the school, such as an introduction to Spanish, art and even more fun, educational programs all in readiness for the ever increasing skills needed for kindergarten.

ImageWith strong heart, determination and a will to succeed, the Huron Girls Track has made major strides over the last few years. With an average of 12 -14 girls on the team the last few years, the girls have struggled to compete with area schools. This year, they have shown that persistence and determination pay off. With a strong team attitude and a "never-quit" spirit, the girls are moving on. The numbers are growing and the effort put forth is paying off.

Browns Backers Golf Benefit PDF Print E-mail

The 1st Annual Huron Browns Backers "FUN" raiser Golf Outing on May 18 at the Keys Golf Course. Mother Nature decided that we should play "soggy" golf but let the sun shine at tee off. We had 14 - 4 man teams that played 9 holes. We had done some fun holes like teeing off with one foot in a bucket, putting with a hockey stick and putting with a tennis ball. All of our teams had a ball and can't wait until next year to do it again.

Huron Boys track team place seventh at District Track Meet PDF Print E-mail

The Huron boys track team finished 7th overall at the District track meet held May 21 & 23 at Oak Harbor High School. This district is one of the toughest in the state with some of the potential top State team finishers participating. Despite the odds the Huron boys accepted the challenge and preformed at their highest level.
