Come On Out To Cheer On Lighthouse Half Marathoners PDF Print E-mail

To mark the 10th anniversary of the Lighthouse Half Marathon and 5K Run, the Huron Chamber of Commerce is planning a party -- a beach party without the sand and sunscreen.
Since it's a milestone year for the race, set for Saturday, May 3, the Chamber asking Huron residents to turn out along the course to cheer on the runners.

Contrary to popular myth not every graduating high school senior falls victim to this mysterious malady.  Nathan Luzader, a senior at Huron High School, candidly admits he "hasn't had time for senioritis . . . I'm just too busy, man."

Dr. Daggett discussed the role education must play to help students meet the needs of the shifting U.S. and world economy.  Author of six books on education leadership, Dr. Daggett has worked with a number of school districts to make their education system more rigorous and relevant for all students.

EHOVE Students Earn C-Tech Certification PDF Print E-mail

Nine students from the Computer Networking Technician College Tech Prep Program at EHOVE Career Center were recently C-TECH certified in Computer Network cabling.
The 9 seniors successfully completed a 40 hour course at EHOVE's Computer Networking Technician College Tech Prep Program.  In this industry-recognized certification training, the students learned to identify, terminate, install, and troubleshoot computer cables.
