Teen Safety Town Counselors Needed
Safety Town counselors are one of the most important parts in running a successful program. Safety Town counselors must have completed 6th grade before the start of Safety Town. Counselors are vital in the day to day operation of the program. Each counselor is assigned an area that they will work in throughout the program. Most importantly a Safety Town Counselor is responsible for bringing excitement, energy & enthusiasm to the program!
As you can see, being a Safety Town Counselor is a big responsibility. If you would like to take part in this program, you will need to complete a Safety Town Counselor Application. Application packets are available at our office. Should you have any questions about becoming a Safety Town Counselor, please feel free to contact our office.
2008 Egg Hunt
The annual Parks and Recreation Egg Hunt at the Boat Basin was a great success! 150 children braced the cold temperatures to come out and load up their Easter Baskets with candy & toy filled eggs. Thanks to generousity of participants, a large box of non-perishable food items will be donated to the local food pantry!
Thanks again to Rebecca Wooster of Remax Realty for sponsorship of this program.
