Storytimes
Storytimes will resume the week of April 6 at the regularly scheduled times.  For more information, call 419-433-5009.
While you pick up your library materials, we would like to invite you to take a few extra minutes to enjoy our entry-way displays. These displays change on a monthly basis, and we are lucky to have many local people donate their time and collectables for us to view. This month the west display case is themed Fishing and is contributed by our Staff. The east display case is themed Humpty Dumpty and is contributed by Deb Murray.

Chess Tournament
Attention: High School chess players, you are invited to our high school chess tournament on being held at the library on Saturday, April 5 from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Chess Games
Chess Games will continue in April 5 and 19 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the library.
All skill levels are encouraged to attend if you are in the 4th grade through adult. Basic instruction will be given. Bring your own board if you have one. Register by calling 419-433-5009.

Book Exchange
The Book Exchange will meet on Tuesday, April 8 at 7 p.m. and discuss Sammy's Hill by Kristen Gore. In this entertaining picture of life on Capital Hill, we find a dedicated, idealistic and straight-forward Sammy trying to live a normal life as she navigates the political arena. Sammy finds herself in love with the handsome speechwriter of a rival senator and the fun begins. Before she knows it, she finds herself at the heart of a romantic tangle, a major showdown over health care reform, and the highest-stakes contest of all-a presidential election campaign.

Second Thursday Seminar
Second Thursday Seminar is sponsored by Huron Garden Club this month. The title of our program, on Thursday, April 10 at 7 p.m., is Perennials by Mary.
Mary Strayer won her first gardening award at the age of twelve. Adding to this accomplishment, Mary has been a Master Gardener since 2000, won the state OAGC Master Gardener award in 2006, is a local writer for several area papers and, most recently, has been published in Better Homes and Gardens, Country Gardens. Mary will join us and share her years of acquired knowledge about perennials for all gardens. For more information, call 419-433-5009. This event is free and open to the public.
