Nearly 30 local employers will be on-hand at the Fifth Annual Spring Job Fair hosted by Ohio Business College on Friday, April 25. Job seekers are encouraged to attend this no-cost event from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Ohio Business College is located at 5202 Timber Commons Drive which is accessible from Hull Road in Sandusky . The school sits adjacent to the Sandusky Mall and faces the Sears store. According to Theresa Fisher, School Director, "this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to secure a full-time, part-time or seasonal position."
Employers scheduled for the event include: Adecco Employment Services, Accountemps Staffing Agency, Best Buy, Cardinal Staffing, Comfort Keepers, Firelands Regional Medical Center, First Choice Medical Staffing, Gordon Food Service, Home Instead, Impact Employment Solutions, Inventive Staffing, Kelly Services, Lowe's, Maui Sands Water Park and Resort, National City Bank, Nesco Resource, Northern Ohio Medical Specialist, Oriana House, Sears, Sam's Club, Spherion, Stein Hospice, Steve & Berry's, Stylecrest, The Lighthouse Resort, Wal-Mart Sandusky, Westaff, and Western & Southern. Several recruiters from the US Armed Forces will also be on-hand. Employers may continue to register for the job fair as space permits.
At 11:30 a.m. Ohio Business College will conduct a free workshop entitled "Resume Writing & Job Interviewing. The 30-minute discussion will include resume and cover letter preparation, as well as interviewing tips. Additionally, all job fair attendees will be registered to win door prizes to be distributed throughout the day.
