Huron High School's Students Against Destructive Decisions organized a Mock Crash at Huron Memorial Stadium the week before the Junior/Senior Prom Dance. This was one of the many activities that SADD presented to remind students to make good decisions and have a safe prom. The Mock Crash was a shocking and memorable event for students, parents, and teachers. Also participating in the event were members of the Huron Fire and Police Departments, the Erie County Sheriff's Department, Foster's Funeral Home, and the St. Vincent's Life Flight. At the end of the assembly students were able to get a close view of the Life Flight helicopter and talk to members of the various safety service groups.
