Walter Edward Stutsman

Walter Edward Stutsman, 66, of Huron died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, after an extended illness. He was born May 16, 1943, in Cleveland and was a lifelong resident of the Huron-Milan areas. He graduated from Milan High School in 1961. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1965 and did his graduate work at University of Toledo and Kent State University. He taught at Sandusky High School from 1965-68 and then at EHOVE Joint Vocational from 1968-88.

Patricia A. (Maloney) Kentus

Patricia A. (Maloney) Kentus, 82, of Huron died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky. Patricia was born Aug. 22, 1927, in Sandusky and has been a resident of Huron since 1970, coming from New York. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Huron. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed animals. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia E. Kentus of Huron; sister, Frances Hinde of Flint, Mich.; brother, Richard (Betty) Maloney of Milan; and brother-in-law, Harry Kentus of Huron.

Obituary- Audrey Herber

Audrey Herber, 87, of Huron passed away early Thursday morning, Dec. 17, 2009, in Erie County Care Facility. She was born May 16, 1922, in Sandusky, daughter of the late Jeanette (Boss) and Harold Lickfelt. A homemaker, Audrey enjoyed collecting many different things. Audrey is survived by her two sons, James Herber of Crown City, Ohio, and Steven (Patti) Herber of Perrysburg, Ohio; son-in-law, Larry Wren of Sandusky; six grandchildren; nine great-grand-children; and one great-great-grandchild.

Obituary- Dorothy M. DeLamatre

Dorothy M. DeLamatre, 76, of Huron, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, in Parkvue Healthcare Center, Sandusky. She was born Dec. 22, 1932, in Huron and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Huron High School in 1952. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Huron, the Republican Women’s Club of Erie County, volunteer for Dial-A-Drive, worked for the Board of Elections as a precinct worker, and was a former member of the Huron Child Study Club.
